POLITICO seeks exceptional college students/recent graduates for its summer 2012 paid internship program. News reporting interns will be involved in all aspects of POLITICO’s fast-paced print and online production, including research, reporting and writing.

Qualifications

Send us a letter describing why you are qualified for a reporting internship. Describe any special skills you have in addition to reporting, writing and/or editing, including multimedia experience. We’d like to hear about previous internships or newsroom experience. 

Preference will be given to candidates with a deep interest in and demonstrated ability to report and write about politics, government and national policy issues. Applicants must at least be rising juniors as of June 1, 2012.
