Remote Part Time Position - Research and Writing

Pay: Stipend of $800 ($12.50 per article). No pro rata (partial) payment for articles submitted if internship is abandoned before completing all assignments for any stage. Bonus may be paid for performance that meets and exceeds all requirements.
Work description:
  Work at home performing online research and writing for website publication
  Complete 8 articles a week for 8 weeks 
  Articles will focus on travel and tourism in major cities
                        Cities: New York, Los Angeles, Rome
                        Topics: activities & recreation, arts & culture, dining, events, transportation, etc.
  Must complete 8 articles, approx. 375 words each, every week as assigned
  All work must be proofread for spelling and grammar prior to submission
  Part-time positions during school year will be offered to top performers
Position Requirements:
  Be a Journalism major with junior to senior level standing
  Have experience in traveling and an interest in pursuing travel writing in the future
  Must have a GPA above 3.0
  Have excellent writing skills, extensive vocabulary and enjoy writing
  Have advanced keyboarding/typing skills
  Have superior online research and search engine query skills, such as
                    Understands custom search queries (inurl:.edu, etc.)
                    Quickly discerns “junk copy/sites” from authoritative material
  Be able to quickly analyze and summarize research findings, using original language
  Be organized, keeping links, quotes, etc. for all  article source materials
  Scrupulously avoids plagiarism and copyright infringement
  Understand “fair use”, “public domain”, “creative commons” licensing.
