Our internship program is structured to provide you with challenging work and also the opportunity to learn more about the many facets of Alliant Energy and your profession.
Alliant Energy is recruiting for an intern in our Public and Community Affairs departments. This positions will be during the spring 2014 semester and/or throughout the summer. The hours are flexible, part-time (24-32 hours per week) and the position is located at our corporate headquarters in Madison, WI.

Job Responsibilities
As a Public and Community Affairs Intern, you will assist with employee engagement and communication projects such as helping the Foundation with social media and employee volunteer program management. Other projects include helping in the execution of 2014 employee engagement activities such as PAC and Get Out The Vote (GOTV) efforts.
Job Qualifications
The Public and Community Affairs departments communicate extensively with both internal and external audiences. For this exciting opportunity, we are looking for students who are strong communicators and who have a passion for learning about employee volunteerism, Foundations, and civic and political engagements. Students pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Political Science, Communications, Business or related field are encouraged to apply.
