Wisconsin Health News is looking for a spring intern to play a key role in social media, reporting, event planning and web maintenance. This is an exciting opportunity to be on the ground floor of entrepreneurial journalism.
Wisconsin Health News is a nonpartisan, independent online news service designed to meet the information needs of busy Wisconsin health care leaders, decision makers, and consumers. Interns will have an opportunity to interact and work with leaders in the health care and legislative fields.
Responsibilities:
- Play a lead role in increasing the organization’s social media efforts
- Attend press conferences, legislative hearings and other news events
- Write stories for daily newsletter
- Maintain website
- Help plan Wisconsin Health News newsmaker events
- Perform other administrative tasks
