Flexible, established around class schedule. Must be able to work 10-15 hours Monday-Friday between 8am and 6pm.
Hiring Conditions

Prior Experience
Prefer candidates majoring in English, strategic communications, journalism, communication arts, or related field.
Job Duties
The member relations’ Terrace Views intern works closely with the member relations director and member relations team to manage the production of content for Terrace Views (our e-newsletter & blog) at terraceviews.org.

Duties include:
  • Creating compelling content that tells the Union story through writing, photography, videography, and editing.
  • Managing publication timeline, tasks, and editorial calendar
  • Generating ideas for content independently and by working closely with various Union departments.
  • Attending events or programs to take photos and video or conduct interviews.
  • Uploading content on WordPress, Youtube, Flickr, and Constant Contact.
  • Demonstrating campaign and blog performance through analysis and reports.
  • Providing back-up customer service support in the membership front office
  • Special projects as assigned
Required Skills
Successful candidates will possess the following skills:

  • Strong writing, proofreading and editing skills
  • Creative, collaborative, rigorous attention to detail
  • Self-starter, motivated, team player
  • Multi-tasker and excellent time management
  • Familiarity or experience with photography, videography, WordPress, Constant Contact, Final Cut Pro, or other a plus.
Pay Rate: 9.50/hr
