What is Readyforce?
Readyforce (www.readyforce.com) is the “LinkedIn for engineering students,” and the leading career network for college students. We’re a 10 person startup based in San Francisco, and we’re changing the way engineering students and companies connect for internships and jobs.
Job Description
As a Readyforce Campus Rep, you will be integral in contributing to the growth and increased awareness of Readyforce on your campus. This is a part-time position with mostly flexible hours (1-5 hours per week) during Spring 2014 on your campus. There will be 2-3 campus reps per school.
Responsibilities:
As a Readyforce Campus Rep, you will represent Readyforce and be directly responsible for:
- research: You will identify the most popular engineering events during the academic year (i.e. hackathons, competitions, conferences) with opportunities for partnership with Readyforce.
- growth: Your primary goal is to increase the number of new student and company users on Readyforce. You will accomplish this by representing and explaining Readyforce at career fairs and on-campus events throughout the semester. You will interact with hundreds of students, company representatives, and student groups on campus.
- promotion: At certain points throughout the semester, Readyforce may send you links to promote and repost via your social media channels (Twitter, Facebook, LinkedIn)

Qualifications:
- You need to be available to attend the technical career fair at your school.
- You should be able to commit on average 1-5 hours per week during the Spring semester/quarter. Outside of specific events, such as career fairs, this time is flexible.
- You are personable, approachable, and can easily strike up a conversation with strangers (and enjoy it!)
- You have excellent communication skills and can clearly communicate with with all types of people.
- You are hardworking, and very responsible. You like a big challenge, and get the job done no matter what.
- You are prompt and reliable. Your team members will be able to count on you when needed.
- You are very organized, and comfortable planning and implementing events.
