Job Description
As a Readyforce Campus Rep, you will be integral in contributing to the growth and increased awareness of Readyforce on your campus. This is a part-time position with mostly flexible hours (1-5 hours per week) during Spring 2014 on your campus. There will be 2-3 campus reps per school.

Responsibilities:
As a Readyforce Campus Rep, you will represent Readyforce and be directly responsible for:
  • research: You will identify the most popular engineering events during the academic year (i.e. hackathons, competitions, conferences) with opportunities for partnership with Readyforce.
  • growth: Your primary goal is to increase the number of new student and company users on Readyforce. You will accomplish this by representing and explaining Readyforce at career fairs and on-campus events throughout the semester. You will interact with hundreds of students, company representatives, and student groups on campus.
  • promotion: At certain points throughout the semester, Readyforce may send you links to promote and repost via your social media channels (Twitter, Facebook, LinkedIn)

Duties include:
  • Creating compelling content that tells the Union story through writing, photography, videography, and editing.
  • Managing publication timeline, tasks, and editorial calendar
  • Generating ideas for content independently and by working closely with various Union departments.
  • Attending events or programs to take photos and video or conduct interviews.
  • Uploading content on WordPress, Youtube, Flickr, and Constant Contact.

Community Engagement PT Internship

This is an unpaid internship that requires course credit and a weekly commitment of ~10 hours.  The position provides a student with an opportunity to gain hands-on experience in the development of strategies, messages, and materials to help a nonprofit organization communicate the impact of its work and deepen its connection with the community it serves.

Responsibilities and opportunities of the position include:
-       Assisting in the development of outreach strategies to advance our mission
-       Advancing our social media presence and effectiveness
-       Researching and drafting conservation stories that communicate the impact of land protection, through blog posts, video production, and print media

Graphic Design Intern


Spring is seeking a motivated, creative intern to join our quickly growing Chicago-based startup. As one of the first fifty employees in the company, you’ll be intimately involved in all facets of graphic design for internal and external communications. Some of the areas on which you’ll focus are:

  • Design of merchant marketing collateral, including but not limited to email marketing campaigns and newsletters for 200+ merchants
