Lottery Special Events Internship (LTE)

State of Wisconsin - Wisconsin 
Full-time, Internship
These positions will work with Special Events and Player Relations to staff special events around the State of Wisconsin. Interns will represent the Lottery in a positive, professional manner; provide positive responses to player questions, comments and concerns; assist in preparation for events' produce graphics and posters; assist with the Winner awareness program; prepare winner posters using PhotoShop and InDesign; and set-up, take-down and staff special events. 

Special Notes :
A comprehensive background check and a tax non-filer check will be conducted on qualified candidate before offer of hire. A valid driver's license is required and applicant must be able to physically lift 40 pounds; to load, unload, set up, and take down lottery display booths and supplies. 

Job Knowledge, Skills and Abilities :
Skills required : Public relations/special event planning and staffing experience, proficiency in Word, Excel, PhotoShop, Illustrator and Indesign. 

Program requirements for students : Junior year (4 year college students), Second year (2 year technical college students), minimum of a 2.5 GPA, Wisconsin resident or attending school in Wisconsin, a pre-employment background check is require for the Lottery positions. 

Major : Marketing Preferred but Public Relations, Advertising, Communications or related fields are accepted.

Rate of Pay will be $12.00 per hour. The duration of this position is mid-May through August. Statewide travel and some overnights are required.
