Interested in the field of Web Design and Development? Do you have your basic chops with HTML and Adobe Photoshop?
Entercom Madison’s Digital Department is offering an exciting new internship position that is designed to give hands-on experience at a major commercial radio station. If you have basic knowledge of Social Networking, HTML, CSS and Photoshop, with a little pop culture on the side, this internship is right up your alley.
If you want to beef up your resume and gain some real skills in a fun and past-paced environment, any interested and energetic person may apply. Academic credit can be given to students who qualify through their college/university. You must be willing to commit to 8-12 hours in the office (but hey, it’s a fun office to be in!)
Specific duties include, but are not restricted to, the following:
Basic Webpage Editing and Creation Work with our Content Management System in a WYSIWYG editor to create or modify WebPages, as well as dive into the source code if need be.
Social Networking Maintain our pages and personas by sharing content from our websites with our fans, start conversations and generally have fun.
Basic Email Marketing Assist in the creation and modification of HTML newsletters from templates.
Photo Editing and Creation Edit and post images to any of our 3 radio station websites as well as Social Networking sites.
Creative Writing Find a ridiculous video or funny photo on the web? Hear about a crazy news story? We want it - post it to our station blogs and share away!
