Description:

Wisconsin Video Services is looking for part time student employees for the 2013-2014 academic year and beyond. We cover all 23 Varsity Sports on campus providing video content for teams, coaches, UWBADGERS.com and the University.

Responsibilities Include (Not Limited To)

-Assisting Video Services staff during varsity sports events
-Assisting with video related tasks for football practices and game days
-Camera equipment setup, breakdown, and operation
-Video digitization
-Video editing using Adobe Premiere
-Video dubbing
-DVD duplication
-Web Stream athletic events and interviews
-Create highlight and informational videos

Preferred Skills (Not Required)

-Any video/camera experience
-Graphic software knowledge and experience (Adobe After Effects, Photoshop)
-Non-linear editing experience (Adobe Premiere, Final Cut Pro, Avid)
-Basic knowledge of sports

Candidates must possess strong communication, organizational, and leadership skills. Well qualified candidates will exhibit high degree of self-motivation, hard work ethic, and responsibility. In addition to office hours, the candidate must be willing to work irregular event hours including nights and weekends. Availability for limited work over the summer is a plus.
