Position Description:
Assist with the management of daily account and administrative activities. Primary job responsibilities will include developing and maintaining media lists, writing press releases and company announcements, assisting with special events, monitoring of media coverage, supporting PR and new business efforts with research as needed, as well as providing administrative support to both the public relations and account service department.
Responsibilities Include:
Assist public relations team on client programs
Conduct research for current and potential clients
Develop and update media lists
Conduct media relations and/or offer media relations support, including distribution
Track media for Core and its clients on a daily, weekly and monthly basis
Write and edit copy for Core and its clients
Provide administrative support to all public relations and account service staff
Length/Hours:
20-25 hours per week; Mid/Late May – End of Summer
Compensation: $8/hour
