Job Overview:
STIR is seeking a motivated digital/web intern who wants to gain real-world experience at a leading Milwaukee agency. If you have a passion for the web, social media, and technology, we want to talk with you. You should have basic web design knowledge, excellent organizational skills and be motivated to work in a high-energy environment.
Job Description The Digital Project Manager Intern will collaborate with team members to pull a project from planning to completion. This person communicates between the Digital, Account teams and Clients to keep projects moving. This person will assist the Digital Director with day-to-day status of all digital client projects. We are looking for a Part-Time commitment of 25-30 hours per week.

Responsibilities:
• Possesses general understanding in the areas of information architecture and user experience
• Possesses general understanding of the web design and development process
• Assist team to develop information architecture and specification documents
• Works with team to maintain content on multiple web sites through a variety of Content Management Systems
• Plans and facilitates team meetings and reviews

Job Qualifications:
• Minimum 1-2 years experience in Web design, development, or a student in web project management or communications curriculum.
• Basic understanding of technology standards and web-based development
• Basic knowledge of usability best practices and usability testing
• Strong attention to detail, strong communication skills (both written and verbal)
• Desire to learn about web production
• Able to juggle multiple projects and deadlines
In addition, the following qualities will be considered:
• Basic HTML and CSS understanding
• Knowledge of a wireframing software (experience with OmniGraffle a plus)
• Social media proficiency
• Experience with various content management systems
• Experience or familiarity with mobile projects
• Familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite
• Any graphic design experience is welcomed
