Digital Intern


As our interactive agency intern, you’ll get hands-on experience working on multiple facets of digital media. You’ll work alongside our team members while gaining valuable knowledge. If you’re looking for a crash course in digital agency life, we’d love to meet you!
What You’ll Do
Throughout your internship, you will be exposed to a growing roster of high-end clients; primarily assisting the interactive team with their day-to-day operations. You will report directly to the VP, Interactive who will assign you varying tasks in reporting, proposal development, client-project facilitation, analytics, online marketing, copywriting and social media and specific operational needs of the agency. As Walton Isaacson’s Interactive intern, you will also be responsible for ensuring general office needs are met while providing exceptional service to both internal teams and clients.
What You’ll Contribute
  • Provide research and data compiling for the team
  • Assist marketing teams with reporting and presentation development
  • Participate in strategy and marketing brainstorming sessions
  • Assist with analytics reporting including Google Analytics and various social media analytics platforms
  • Assist with email newsletter campaigns
  • Assist development and production teams with QA efforts
  • Assist in analysis of website and social traffic and behavior
  • Assist in documentation and delivery of digital assets
  • Assist in blogger relations and outreach
  • Assist in department new business research and strategy
The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:
  • A bachelor’s degree or graduate of Communications, Public Relations, Marketing, Advertising or other related field
  • Coursework related to digital marketing and advertising
  • Can work 40 hours/week
  • Outgoing personality with very strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Grammar enthusiasts encouraged to apply
  • Must be comfortable answering phones in a friendly, confident, professional manner
  • Active user of social media is a must; blogging or personal website experience a strong plus
  • Organized, detail-oriented individual
  • Drive to exceed expectations and give 120%
  • Desire to learn all angles of a digital agency and grow cross-functional skills under mentorship of various team members
  • Interest in pursuing a career in the digital space
  • Working knowledge of PowerPoint and of Microsoft Excel required
Start Date: TBD
End Date: 3 to 6 months
Paid Internship: $10 per hour, 40 hours per week
No academic credit required.
