Hours are flexible. The Madison Area City Guide works with the Madison area and 12 surrounding communities by assisting them with marketing and advertising. The Social Media Intern is responsible for media monitoring, client media monitoring, client reporting, news clippings, analyzing data and researching topics. The intern will develop their skills in advertising development, media coverage reporting, data reporting, and social networking. The qualified intern should be an active blogger, have twitter and other social networking accounts. Great communication skills with new and existing customers. The ability to translate analytic data to clients. High school/GED required. Two years marketing, sales or advertising preferred. This internship is unpaid.
