NPR Internship Opportunity

VISIT WEBSITE!!: http://www.npr.org/about/careers/internships.html
Ready for an internship like no other? NPR interns play a vital role in NPR's daily operations in almost every division of the organization - from NPR News and Music, to Communications and the Office of the General Counsel. Our interns work alongside experienced staff members to gain unparalleled experience in their chosen field and contribute their talents and energies to NPR's mission.
One highlight of the NPR internship program is Intern Edition, a multimedia program produced, promoted, and launched entirely by interns. The program is the hallmark of our internship program, and the debut of each edition is an organization-wide celebration.

Legal internships in the Office of the General Counsel have different application dates and requirements.  And don't forget that our Member stations offer internships of their own.

General Information:
Internships are offered during the summer, fall, and winter/spring semesters. Interns are expected to work full-time, 40 hours per week, during the 10-week summer semester and between 10 and 40 hours per week during the 16-week fall and winter/spring semesters. Interns may receive academic credit. Internship positions are offered at our national headquarters in Washington, D.C.; NPR West in Culver City, CA; at the New York and Chicago Bureaus; and in Boston, MA. Many Member stations offer internships of their own; check you local station's website for details.
