New York Girl Style is looking for new editorial interns for our next season. NYGS is a leading lifestyle media company with a network delivering original content for women and is a go-to site for everything women need to know, including video features on fashion, style, beauty, celebrity style, healthy living and entertainment.

We are looking for savvy editorial interns that can write trending pieces from fashion, style beauty, shopping, trend watch, celebrity style, entertainment news plus New York stories for our national audeince from Los Angeles to New York. You will get involved in our social media platforms Facebook, Twitter, Tumblr and Instagram distributing our content.

Learn Advertising in New York!

FCB Health is looking for interns for Summer 2016.

The Internship Program is designed to offer college students the opportunity to learn about a career in advertising. Interns will work in real-world business situations, attend seminars on the different aspects of the industry and work in intern teams on a campaign competition.

The program will be 9 weeks, beginning on Monday, June 6 until Friday, August 5.
It is a FULL-TIME, PAID internship.
Every intern will be assigned to a specific department and will work on designated accounts.

Qualifications

  • currently enrolled as junior or senior in an accredited college or university and in good standing (or) recent graduate, December 2015 or later
  • coursework related to advertising/marketing and/or healthcare (for pharma and healthcare accounts)
  • available to work a minimum of 35 hours per week for the duration of the program
  • possess solid communication, computer and presentation skills
**Art and copy (Creative) candidates MUST have a portfolio demonstrating you can think and design/write compellingly. Art candidates must be comfortable using Adboe Suite, Photoshop and Illustrator programs.

Marketing and Events with Gilda's Club Madison

Gilda's Club Madison is offering a part-time internship in Middleton, Wisconsin!

GCM is seeking an early 2016, or year-long intern (starting January 2016) to work with event/development staff on several major fundraising events. This opportunity will teach you about the various aspects of fundraising event planning, donor cultivation and the administrative side of a nonprofit. This is an unpaid internship.

You will:

  • gain understanding of Gilda's Club Madison's mission and its community connections along with basic knowledge of cancer care in the Madison area
  • gain hands-on experience working with a nonprofit
  • understand funding sources for a nonprofit of this size
  • gain experience working with some local businesses as sponsors for events
  • learn the marketing needs and challenges of a small nonprofit
  • experience working in a small office setting
Primary duties:
  • work on several major events
  • create materials and timeline for team building for October 4th Run/Walk
  • create marketing materials and donor correspondence
  • update agency social media
  • work with development to highlight upcoming events
  • some administrative tasks related to donor/member database system

The Daily Caller, a 24-hour online news publication is seeking a journalism intern who is interested in a fast-paced, exciting workplace that values motivation and innovation.

As an intern at the Daily Caller, you will be involved with all facets of the 24-hour news publication, from aggregating articles to producing original pieces. Interns will also be assigned work by the staff as needed which will focus on electronic research, but could encompass other duties as well. As a Journalism Intern, you will work closely with the Editorial Staff to monitor and produce original content.

Because we are a start-up, every aspect of our company is very hands on. After the introduction period, we ask that you express which tasks you prefer and capitalize on them. Whether that is writing stories, creating movies, posting slide shows, working with our business department to analyze statistics and improve sales, or whatever that may be, we are all ears and want to make sure you have the opportunity to explore all your interests.

Qualifications

Interns should be:

-hardworking and motivated
-knowledgeable about politics and contain at least one year of journalism experience
-able to successfully handle multiple tasks at once
-exceptional verbal and written communication skills
-creative and resourceful
-detail-oriented

We ask that you work at least 10-15 hours a week, and because we are open 24 hours, we have several different shifts to work with your schedule.

Experience with computers, including WordPress is a plus.
